Nick Adamus is an independent investor and business advisor. As an investor, he focuses on scalable, technology-driven start-ups and scale-ups, supporting them in various capacities and roles. He is also involved in several venture funds and actively engaged in the start-up ecosystem.
As a business advisor, he primarily supports owner-managed companies and family offices on topics such as strategy development, business expansion, partnerships, and investments.
From 2005 to 2017, he held senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse, including Head of Corporate Development, Head of One Bank Collaboration, Head of Securities Trading & Sales Switzerland, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.
Prior to that, he worked for 13 years at McKinsey & Company in Zurich, Paris, and New York — mainly in the financial services and particularly the banking sector — most recently as a Partner and Head of the Swiss Banking as well as Corporate Finance & Strategy Practices.
Nick Adamus has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, both domestically and internationally, and speaks six languages. He studied economics at the University of Zurich and earned an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
