ADMIR’S BACKGROUND
Admir Opardija is Chief Operating Officer and Digital Transformation Lead at Globalance Bank. He is responsible for the bank’s operational excellence and scalability, ensuring that its growth is built on a modern, AI-based, and legacy-free technological foundation. He leads the advancement of digital products and focuses on transforming complex data into measurable customer value and a future-proof banking experience.
Admir Opardija is an experienced expert at the intersection of banking, technology, and digitalization. As a bridge builder with over 15 years of industry experience, he combines strategic foresight with strong execution capabilities to set new standards in the digital financial world.
During the build-up of Sygnum Bank AG, the world’s first digital asset bank, he helped design the processes required to obtain a Swiss banking license and, as Head of Digital Product Management, led the development of digital products across custody, trading, compliance, tokenization, and online banking. In addition, as Deputy COO, he supported the bank’s operational leadership and, as a member of the Leadership Circle Change, actively contributed to shaping its strategic direction. His consistent focus is on delivering an outstanding user experience as a key driver of successful technological innovation.
Previously, Admir Opardija spent over eight years as a Manager at Accenture, where he led strategic transformation programs for leading financial institutions. His focus was on managing complex regulatory initiatives and implementing processes aligned with international banking standards. He holds a Master’s degree in Management & Economics from the University of Zurich.
